She also volunteers for the Association of Women in Property, a network that exists to expand knowledge and inspires change for women working in the property and construction industry, and the Property Marketing Awards, an annual not-for-profit event, organised by the Chartered Surveyors’ Company, a City of London livery company that supports the education of young people.
Jo has had her work published in business and trade titles including Management Today, Talk Business, Professional Manager Magazine, Smart Buildings Magazine, Work Design Magazine, Work&Place, Workplace Insight, FX, Facilities Management Journal, Facilitate, i-FM, and she has produced papers for the likes of RICS and IFMA’s Knowledge Library.
Having trod the boards in her youth, Jo is still involved in the theatre and writes for the stage. Her first play was produced in February 2020 as part of VAULT Festival, London. Her second is in progress.
