Magenta supports Anabas with corporate communications around change in ownership

Magenta Associates, the integrated communications agency for the built environment, has successfully supported corporate office FM specialist Anabas with a variety of internal and external communications as part of its acquisition by French FM firm Armonia.

Managing director Alistair Craig and chairman Mark Cooper bought Magenta into the team several weeks before the deal completed last week. Working closely with the communications team at Armonia, based in Paris, Magenta devised a communications strategy, timeline and key messages. Following agreement of the approach, Magenta created a variety of deliverables including scripts, emails, letters, intranet pages and flyers for communications to colleagues, customers, partners and the wider marketplace including the press. “Communications around a change in ownership are always incredibly delicate. Who do you tell in what order and how do you share the news so that everyone understands the reasons for the change,” said Magenta’s founder and chairman Cathy Hayward. “We were delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with Mark and Alistair and deliver timely communications to support the company through this period.”

“Magenta was an enormous help at this challenging time helping to ensure that our reasons for the change in ownership were communicated sensitively and in a timely way ” said Mark Cooper. “I can’t thank the team enough for their flexibility with the changing timescales, and their willingness to do whatever it took to support us.”
