Lily Wiggins, a student at Leeds University reading international relations, has joined Cathy and the team at Magenta Associates this week on work experience. Studying international relations has equipped Lily with strong analytical and communications skills, crucial to any career in PR.
Having just completed an internship with PPS Group in London, who specialise in property PR, Lily is keen to gain an insight into the facilities management sector in order to gain as much experience as possible within the various sectors of PR and communications before graduating from university next year.
Looking ahead, Lily is certain that the world of PR and communications will provide the dynamic and challenging working environment she is looking for in a future career.
Cathy Hayward, managing director of Magenta Associates says: “I am delighted to have Lily on board, and will be putting her abilities to the test in the next few days.”
Lily says: “I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from Cathy and the team at Magenta Associates during my time here. It’s also a bonus to be escaping London for a while and spending some time in Brighton, particularly before the start of the Olympics.”
