Magenta welcomes its second placement student

This week, Laneisha Lynch joins the Magenta team as part of our year-long student placement position offered.

Laneisha is mid-way through her four-year public relations course at Bournemouth University, and has joined Magenta to better her experience of the industry, and to get a taste of working life in a busy office.

Following a one-month internship offered to Alice Finney in July 2016, and a 15-month internship offered to Ollie Tunmore, Laneisha is the third intern Magenta has welcomed, and the second to stay for a year-long scheme.

On the new role, Laneisha said: “My first few days at Magenta have been a whirlwind! I have spent time meeting the lovely team, familiarising myself with clients and different sectors, and I have had the chance to start researching and working on a variety of different tasks. I am really excited to see what the future holds for me at Magenta and I can’t wait to make the most of my placement year, being back in sunny Brighton. .”

Laneisha will work closely with senior account manager, Esme Banks Marr, across a range of client accounts.

Esme has said: “We’re really excited to have Laneisha join us for the year. It’s great to be able to offer another internship opportunity to a keen university student and show them the practical world of PR. Following the success of our previous two interns, we have proven that we can provide a fantastic environment for individuals to learn and develop their passion for the industry, through working in a small team with some amazing clients.”
