We’ve worked with some great clients on some genuinely interesting briefs over the years. Most sit in the built environment, workplace, facilities management and security sectors, and that depth of sector knowledge runs through everything in this book. It covers more than a decade of strategic communications work spanning PR, content, SEO, internal communications, research and stakeholder engagement.
Here’s a flavour of what’s inside.
The outcomes, not the outputs
Rather than organising the book by service, we’ve structured it around what clients were actually trying to achieve: winning market leadership and high-value contracts, building credibility and trust, demonstrating the ROI of reputation, engaging employees through change, elevating brand for long-term growth and communicating clearly about AI. The case studies sit within those outcomes, which hopefully makes it easier to find the work most relevant to you.
Strategic communications support
The range of work in the book is something we’re proud of. For workplace consultancy AWA, we helped turn its Hybrid Working Index into a genuinely influential piece of research, with a Times exclusive triggering further coverage across Bloomberg, The Guardian, BBC News and the World Economic Forum.
For occupancy technology business Freespace, a sustained data-led media programme generated 177 pieces of coverage and saw the business become Bloomberg’s first-choice source for UK return-to-office data.
Food safety specialist ETI wanted to challenge supermarket time-based cooking guidance with original research. The resulting campaign reached an estimated readership of 848 million, prompted direct engagement with major supermarkets and established ETI as a credible national voice on food safety.
For office relocation specialist Business Moves Group, we integrated SEO with its existing PR programme. Keyword rankings grew from 29 to 171, referring domains nearly doubled, and organic search became the strongest driver of new business leads.
Some of the most sustained work in the book is with Leesman, a workplace experience platform we supported from early growth through to its successful sale in 2021. Over six years, hundreds of pieces of coverage helped establish Leesman as the leading global authority on employee workplace experience. As founder Tim Oldman put it, PR played a key role in the business’s expansion in the UK and in new international markets.
The book also covers a substantial body of transformation and internal communications work, which for many organisations in this sector is just as pressing as external profile. We guided Servest through two major mergers, first with Atalian and then with OCS, managing complex stakeholder communications under strict legal and regulatory constraints. We helped Corps Security build a structured internal communications function capable of consistently reaching a dispersed workforce of more than 3,500 people. And we supported Anabas through its acquisition by international group Armonia, ensuring employees, customers and the wider market received clear, confident messaging from day one.
