Employee-owned communications consultancy Magenta Associates has launched a new impact report service to help organisations share meaningful environmental and social progress at a time when scrutiny around greenwashing and ESG accountability has never been higher.
Designed for companies in any sector, the service supports businesses in planning, writing, designing and publicising their annual ESG, sustainability or impact reports.
With increasing pressure from investors, customers, regulators and employees to operate transparently, impact reports are no longer a ‘nice to have’ – they are a reputational essential. However, many organisations still struggle to move beyond compliance, producing either dry or overly promotional documents that don’t engage their audience or stand up to scrutiny.
Magenta’s impact report service addresses that gap. Drawing on its responsible communications credentials as an early signatory of the Green Claims Policy and author of its own Responsible Comms Charter, Magenta promises to help clients tell authentic stories that resonate with stakeholders.
Jo Sutherland, managing director at Magenta, said: “A great impact report can do so much more than tick a compliance box. It can build trust, attract purpose-driven talent, strengthen bids and investment cases, and showcase your values in action. But only if it’s done right. Our service helps clients cut through the complexity and create reports that are clear, credible, and genuinely impactful.”
The new service includes:
- Strategic planning and framework alignment
- Content development and storytelling
- Report design (including interactive and digital-first formats)
- Multi-channel publicity and internal comms support
Magenta has published a guide to writing powerful impact reports, which is available to download for free on the Magenta website.
